01 Cape Plugin Suite

Figma plugins for Cape Design System.

The suite

Four plugins for one design system.

A collection of Figma plugins designed to simplify complex workflows, improve design system adoption, and help designers work more efficiently. I led the plugin suite initiative.

01 Fly

Making design system onboarding interactive

Getting started with a large-scale design system can be overwhelming, with hundreds of components, libraries and guidelines.

Fly turns onboarding into a guided, hands-on experience inside Figma. It introduces designers to the Cape ecosystem step by step and ends with a practical design exercise to apply what they learned.

Coming soon: an AI assistant trained on Cape that gives contextual guidance and answers questions directly in Figma.

02 Keyword Gen

Improving asset discoverability at scale

Finding the right components, icons and illustrations depends on consistent metadata, and maintaining it by hand across large libraries is slow.

Keyword Gen enables bulk updates to component search keywords directly in Figma. It improves discoverability, cuts manual effort and helps designers find what they need faster.

03 Theme Switcher

Simplifying multi-brand theming

Managing themes across brands, platforms and modes is complex, especially with both Figma variables and Tokens Studio.

Theme Switcher is a one-click way to switch Light/Dark, B2B/B2C/Rider and brand themes, without navigating token configurations.

Designed and built by Shalaka, a designer on my team. I led the process and reviews.

04 Asset Gen

AI-powered illustration generation in Figma

In development

Creating consistent illustrations across brands often needs specialised tools and repetitive work.

Asset Gen lets designers define a custom illustration style from five reference images and a set of visual guidelines. An AI model then generates new assets in that style directly on the Figma canvas.
